It’s been three years since Niantic released Pokemon Go Update. The first augmented reality app quickly became a worldwide phenom. Since that time, the company has slowly rolled out updates of new gameplay and tactics for capturing Pokemon.
The gaming community is abuzz with excitement over the latest possible update to the popular mobile game. Niantic has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors surrounding the app, but gamers are convinced the company has been dropping hints for weeks.

Clues in Professor Willow’s Blog
The Pokémon Go team regularly shares Professor Willow’s “logs” on the official blog. A log entry posted on 10/24/2019 was titled “Mysterious Components.” The post mused on the “strange items” that dropped from Team GO Rocket Grunts after battles they lost. Professor Willow described the items as a cold, metal alloy with a light-purple color.
The follow-up report on 10/24/2019 revealed that Professor Willow had been building a prototype with these strange items. His construction plans showed that combining six of the metal items created one larger machine. He has yet to reveal what this machine does exactly, but gamers are putting the clues together like a puzzle.
Hideout Detection Radar
Professor Willow does write what he is attempting to do with the machine. The device, which he calls Rocket Radar, could possibly track Team GO rocket Leaders. It appears as though Niantic’s new feature for the Pokémon Go update will be a radar system similar to Pokémon Go maps that players have used since the beginning. Fans hope that the device will allow Team GO Rocket to sneak into PokeStops undetected.
Pokemon Go Update. New Update Rollout After Halloween Event?

The gaming industry speculates that Niantic will wait for the upcoming event to finish before launching a Team GO Rocket event to unveil the Rocket Radar. The Team GO Rocket is still a relatively new feature in Pokémon Go. It was introduced just three months ago, in July.
Go Battle League
Looking ahead to 2020, Niantic will update Pokemon Go Update with another new feature. Go Battle Leagues will encourage players to get outside. Gamers will earn entry into a worldwide Battle League by walking. Once they make it into the league, they will enter an online matching system to battle other players.
Niantic changed mobile gaming for good by creating the first AR game. The company will continue to recruit trainers by adding new features and events that encourage gaming with a side of outdoor adventures.
